Good to know in Cusco

• Transit: Taxis are cheap ($1-3 within the city) but always agree on a price before getting in, there are no meters. Shared combis (minibuses) cost under $0.30 for local hops.
• Tipping: Not mandatory but appreciated; tip 10% at sit-down restaurants and 5-10 soles for tour guides, service charges are rarely included at local spots.
